Principal's Corner

We have bugs in our Elementary School.

Our elementary school is being over-run by a variety of bugs and insects.  The majority of them are worms, snails, crickets, and caterpillars.  We are also finding fish in some of our classrooms.  To top it off, i am seeing alot of dirt and water in the rooms.

The above information is also resulting in allot of smiling faces and excited students (and teachers).  These are all being used in our ALABAMA MATH AND SCIENCE INITIATIVE classroom projects. AMSTI  gives our students an opportunity to do HANDS ON science activities.  We are also learning to work with a collaborative group, do experiments, record date, and report findings.

We are all looking forward to more fun activities throughout the year.
