Classes of 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s Honored at Football Game
Lauderdale Councy High School is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its first graduating class. To celebrate, the school is coordinating many activities around the theme "100 Years of Tradition."
On Friday, September 14, LCHS honored graduates from classes of the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s before the varsity football game against Deshler.
The school is planning a special Homecoming Parade this year. The parade is scheduled for Friday, October 12. The overall "100 Years of Tradition" theme will be used to coordinate individual themes for floats and other parade entries. The floats for grades 7-12 will each honor a particular era of the past century. Class presidents participated in a random drawing to assign an era to each grade. The results are as follows:
7th Grade: 1950's
8th Grade: 1990's & 2000's
9th Grade: 1960's
10th Grade: 1980's
11th Grade: 1930's & 1940's
12th Grade: 1920's
