Support and Donations Were Abundant for the Lauderdale County Basketball Tournament
In the spirit of giving and all Alabama has been though this year, the Lauderdale County school system has been truly blessed. This spirit of giving was truly shown this January during the Lauderdale County Basketball Tournament.
Businesses from all over Lauderdale County and the Shoals area contributed to the Tournament. Players, coaches, cheerleaders, etc leave school in a rush to represent their schools. Some don’t have time to eat; others may not have money to eat away from home each day. The following businesses made sure your child or spouse received a variety of free meals on the days they played or coached.
Please tell the following businesses how much you appreciate their response to help our athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, referees, principals, board members, trainers, news media and all the volunteer workers who helped make this tournament a success. Our children work hard from grade school through twelfth grade to be ready to represent their school and they deserve rewards for their efforts.
The parents, faculty, fans and the whole community came together to make sure the tournament was a success.
Thank you for all your hard work and endless hours of dedication to the students of our school system. After all, when we leave the county limits…We all are Lauderdale County, day or night.
